Mars Petcare modernizes Kansas City, Missouri manufacturing complex
Pet food and pet products maker Mars Petcare will upgrade its manufacturing facility in Kansas City, Missouri. The $82 million project is expected to create 95 jobs.
The expansion will increase GREENIES candy production capacity by more than 75%, or more than 940 million candies per year. Upgrades also include adding new processing and packaging machinery, as well as utilities and infrastructure. The establishment currently employs more than 260 employees.
