San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter Animals of the Week

Dog of the week: Glacier

This handsome Husky boy is an absolute sweetheart. Glacier is only 7 months old and has been at SMRAS for 40 days with no interest in adoption. While at the shelter, he had fun playing with his adoptable friend Calabasas Coco (48095298). They can run for hours, and since their close ages, their energy levels match up very well. Glacier would appreciate a dog pal in his forever home who could keep him company and entertain him all the time. Come meet her handsome boy today.

Cat of the week: Jackson

Jackson looks a bit rough around the edges, but he’s really just a big softy! He likes constant attention and will spread his paws to let you know he needs a good head scratch. Jackson also likes to scratch the cat tree and rub against it to show his contentment. Plus, he has an adorable pink nose that you’ll just want to boo! Jackson can’t wait to be your best friend and spend his life making memories.

Both animals are available for adoption at the San Marcos Regional Shelter. All adoptions cost $97 and include spaying, veterinary exam, vaccinations, microchipping and 30 days of free pet health insurance.
