Wellness Pet Company Expands Portfolio with New Protein Sources and Life Stage Targeted Formulas
TEWKSBURY, MASS. – Wellness Pet Company, formerly known as WellPet, shared several new product innovations at the Global Pet Expo, held March 23-25 in Orlando, Florida. Expanding its product selection across the plant-based, fresh and functional wet cat food categories, the company is also working on rebranding its Wellness, WHIMZEES and Old Mother Hubbard packaging.
The company launched its first plant-based recipes earlier this month, including Wellness CORE® Digestive Health Plant-Based, a dry dog food formulated with probiotics and whole eggs, and Wellness CORE® Immune Health Bowl Boosters as a herbal meal topper.
The CORE Digestive Health line has also been expanded to meet the needs of young and senior dogs in this category, with new Puppy and Age Advantage formulas formulated with probiotics and prebiotic fibers to support a healthy microbiome, immunity, energy and healthy skin and coat. .
